In this article, we will discuss about the flat belly exercises that could be done at home. These exercises are easy to do and are very effective as well.


Plank is one of the best exercise for flat stomach. Plank not only flatten the stomach but also strengthen the body and improves the posture and supports spine.

How to do?

  • Go down on the floor in push-up position
  • Bend your elbows and put weight on forearms
  • Form a straight line through your body from shoulders to ankles
  • Suck the belly button in the spine
  • Hold on to this position for some time and relax (start with 10 seconds and each day add more 10 seconds. For example first day 10 seconds, second day 20 seconds and so on)
  • Repeat the same process for 3 to 4 times.


Sit ups not only burns the belly fat but also strengthen the abdominal muscles.

How to do?

  • Lie on the floor with face up
  • Keep your lower body still and move upper body towards yur knees. Exhale as you go up
  • Move back to the original position and inhale
  • Use abdominal muscles to move up and down
  • Repeat for 10 to 15 times


Crunches are one of the best and easiest exercises to lose belly fat fast at home without any equipment’s.

How to do?

  • Lie on the floor
  • Place your hands behind your head
  • Bend your knees and place feet on the ground
  • Lift your upper body
  • Exhale as you go up and inhale as you come down
  • Repeat for few minutes
Boat pose

This is quite challenging exercise and difficult as compared to crunches but this is also very effective to get your results within no time. Boat pose improves balance and target core muscles.

How to do?

  • Sit on the floor and bend your knees
  • Bring your legs up and straighten them until your body makes a V shape
  • Stretch your arms and keep them in parallel position
  • Stay in this position for some time

Roll ups not only strengthen the abdominal area and muscles bit also helps in the flexibility of the body.

How to do?

  • Lie on your back
  • Stretch your arms and legs
  • Lift your arms up and move forward
  • Use abs to roll up to sitting position
  • Squeeze abs and roll down to the starting position


Windshield is very effective exercise for getting flat stomach, it also strengthens the entire body.

How to do?

  • Lie on the floor with your knees stretched and legs straight up
  • Arms by your side
  • Drop your legs slowly to one side
  • Repeat the same to the opposite side
  • At least 10 repetitions are required.
